Neil J. Lehto

Neil J. Lehto has represented cities, villages and townships in Michigan and Ohio in cable television, telecommunications, fiber optic broadband, natural gas and electric utility, right of way managment, pipeline and  related matters since 1978 when he graduated from the Detroit College of Law. During law school he worked as a law clerk/court officer for a district court judge while serving as member and managing editor of the DCL Law Review. He has served as a member of the Rochester Hills City Council, president of Friends of the Friends of the Rochester Public Library, vice chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party, chairman of the Macomb County Bar Association's Cable Television Committee and member of numerous other civic and professional groups. He has spoken and written extensively on subjects in his field of expertise for the American Bar Association, International Municipal Lawyers Association, Michigan Municipal League, Michigan Townships Association, Alliance for Community Media, National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors and many other national, state and regional groups.
